The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) is recruiting three faculty members for its Guwahati campus: one Associate Professor in the School of Social Sciences and two Assistant Professors in the Centre for Under Graduate Studies. - Qualification: Ph.D. and a Master's degree with at least 55% marks in Economics, Geography, Environmental Science or Studies, Political Science, Development Studies or a related subject
- Experience: at least eight years of teaching or research at the level of Assistant Professor, with a minimum of seven publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a research score of 75 under the UGC Regulations 2018
Assistant Professor (2 posts, unreserved)

- Pay: Academic Pay Level 10
- Qualification: a Master's degree with at least 55% marks in Political Science, Sociology, Psychology or a related subject
- NET, SLET or SET, or a Ph.D. awarded under the UGC regulations
