The State Level Recruitment Commission for Class III posts is recruiting 72 Field Assistants (Statistics) / Enumerators for the Integrated Sample Survey scheme of Assam's Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department. Graduates with a statistics-related paper, or with 50% in Class 12 Mathematics, can apply. Online applications run from 15 October to 14 November 2026 and there is no fee.

Who can apply
- Age 21 to 40 years on 1 January 2026. Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC/MOBC, 10 years for persons with benchmark disabilities, 2 years for ex-servicemen
- A Bachelor's degree in any subject with at least one paper in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Social Science, Sociology or Psychology; or a Bachelor's degree in any subject with 50% marks in Mathematics in Class 12
- English and one local language (Assamese, Bengali or Bodo) as subjects in HSLC
- A computer course certificate of at least six months from a Government-recognised institute
- Indian citizenship and a valid Employment Exchange registration in Assam
- Serving Government employees need a No Objection Certificate
